We\u2019ve invested in security to protect our customers\u2019 data, achieving <a href=\"https:\/\/support.carta.com\/sg\/s\/article\/soc-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SOC 1 Type 2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www-staging.carta.com\/sg\/blog\/iso-27001-certification\/\">ISO 27001<\/a>, and now SOC 2 Type 2 security ratings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>What is a SOC 2 Type 2 report?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A Service Organization Control (SOC) Type 2 has determined that Carta\u2019s systems and controls meet stringent security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy requirements set by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). While a Type I report details the procedures and controls an organization has in place, a Type II report audits those procedures and controls over a period of 6 months.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We keep your data secure by:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Continuously testing our security by conducting vulnerability tests<\/li><li>Always monitoring for security threats of all kinds<\/li><li>Monitoring and restricting access to customer data<\/li><li>Encrypting all traffic and data that comes through Carta\u2019s platform\u00a0<\/li><li>Auditing user access into our platform<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>Data security on Carta<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Carta will complete a SOC 2 Type 2 audit annually.
