That\u2019s why we became <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/isoiec-27001-information-security.html\" target=\"_blank\">ISO 27001<\/a> certified this month.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means we meet a high security standard and have:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Developed and implemented a rigorous security system<\/li><li>Built a robust risk management program<\/li><li>Put systems in place to mitigate the impact of any data breaches<\/li><li>Been independently assessed to an international standard based on industry best practices<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>How does Carta keep data secure?<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our ISO 27001 certification is basically a representation of all the ways we secure data, including:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Using tools like CloudFlare and Cisco Meraki to protect against cyberattacks<\/li><li>Encrypting sensitive data like tax IDs and passwords<\/li><li>Undergoing regular independent security audits<\/li><li>Allowing users to secure their Carta accounts via two-factor authentication<\/li><li>Filing as an SEC-registered transfer agent<\/li><li>Inviting top security researchers to try to find vulnerabilities on our platform<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, we take security seriously.
